Design of Compact Self-Quintuplexing Antenna with High-Isolation for Penta-Band Applications

This article presents a novel compact self-quintuplexing antenna architecture based on substrate-integrated rectangular cavity (SIRC) for pentaband applications. The proposed is constructed by employing an SIRC, one Pi-shaped slot (PSS), T-shaped (TSS), and five 50Ω microstrip feedlines. PSS TSS are engraved the top of SIRC to create radiating patches, which excited feedlines achieve operation with characteristics. resonating frequencies can be tuned independently dimension radiator without disturbing other bands. A detailed parametric analysis carried out provide suitable frequency tunable range high isolation. In addition, equivalent lumped circuit developed analyze antenna. To validate architecture, SIRC-based operating at 2.29, 2.98, 3.65, 4.37, 5.08 GHz fabricated demonstrated. offers competitive performance size 0.173λ 2 , operation, isolation 29.31 dB, wide tunability from 2.29 6.03 GHz. Furthermore, exhibits measured realized gain 3.59, 4.55, 3.91, 5.70, 4.92dBi 3.64, GHz, respectively.
